Ever ridden in an ambulance: yes. It’s deathly scary when you hear beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep and you’re the one the heart monitor is attached to.  The AED hurts like a bitch when you’re awake enough to know and feel them.

Have you ever been in a car crash: one major – a rollover in a storm.  Still not sure how I walked away from that one.  I was rear-ended at a stop light (the other driver: “i’ve already been in 4 accidents this week, please don’t call the cops!”)  And was broadsided by a car in a parking lot, once.

When was your last hospital visit: January 16-29, 2012.  Not a good reason.  Again, walked away unscathed, and more blessed than lucky.

Ever broken a bone: most of my toes, fractured orbital, left pinky finger, knuckles.

Ever been in a fistfight: yes, and I won.  nobody hits a woman in my presence and gets away with it.

Had a medical emergency: was attacked in the face by a dog when I was 13.

Gotten beaten up: yes, but that’s a memory I don’t want to recall.

Ever seen a dead body: I used to work at a hospital.  I’ve seen a lot of nasty accidents, too.  Had a guy drop dead in front of me once, too.  I said “good morning” and he said “great day, so far!”  then just dropped.
